Be at the center of the celebration: Volunteer!
More than 10,000 people are expected in Downtown Fredericksburg for First Night® and YOU can be at the center of the celebration - the lifeline of First Night's success! We have tasks for hundreds of volunteers - from button checkers to hospitality workers and volunteers manning street barricades. If you have volunteered in previous years, join us again! Individuals, families, and groups are welcome to apply. Two hour shifts are available. All volunteers receive a complimentary First Night button allowing them full access to the night's activities when they are not on duty and entry into the Hospitality Venue for free snacks and drinks. To volunteer or for more information, call (540) 372-1086 ext. 204. Or join us at the Volunteer Reception on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 7:00pm at the Dorothy Hart Community Center, 408 Canal Street.
